WOUNDED WARRIORS CANADA RECEIVES $50,000 DONATION FROM LOCKHEED MARTIN CANADA
OTTAWA – Wounded Warriors Canada is proud to announce a partnership with Lockheed Martin Canada. At a special reception with industry stakeholders and supply chain partners, Lockheed Martin Canada announced their 2018 contribution of $50,000 to support Wounded Warriors Canada’s leading mental health programs to benefit ill and injured Veterans and their families. This announcement marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership that will make a significant difference in Wounded Warriors Canada’s ability to deliver their life-changing and family-saving mental health programs.
“The majority of our Veterans experience a full career and make successful transitions to retirement. At the same, we also know this is not the case for everyone. When injuries are sustained, it doesn’t matter where, when or how they occurred. What matters is that our Veterans and their family members know that we, as a country, are in this together – working to ensure they receive the help they so rightly deserve,” said Scott Maxwell, Executive Director of Wounded Warriors Canada. “We thank Lockheed Martin Canada for their commitment to our military families and for joining our mission to get #inthistogether mental health.”
