WOUNDED WARRIORS CANADA RECEIVES VETERANS OMBUDSMAN NATIONAL ORGANIZATION COMMENDATION

OTTAWA – Wounded Warriors Canada is proud to receive the Veterans Ombudsman’s National Organization Commendation. The commendation recognizes the exceptional work and significant contribution of an organization with a national scope that has resulted in a long-lasting and positive impact on the well-being of Veterans and their families.

“As a mental health service provider, our programs are made possible thanks to our outstanding clinical team and the thousands of Canadians from across the country who do what they can – raising awareness and funds – to help us make a life-changing impact in the lives of Veterans, First Responders and their families. I am honored to receive this commendation and do so on behalf of our national team, donors and supporters who, ultimately, make Wounded Warriors Canada possible.” – Scott Maxwell, Executive Director, Wounded Warriors Canada.

“Congratulations to Wounded Warriors, and indeed all recipients, each of whom was nominated by its peers and selected for a Veterans Ombudsman Commendation. Its leadership and dedication to its work inspires others to make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families.” – Craig Dalton, Veterans Ombudsman.

The Veterans Ombudsman Commendation recognizes and honours the exceptional dedication, hard-work and selfless motivation of an individual or group’s contribution to Canada’s Veterans and their families.
