PICKERING FIRE SERVICES PARTNERS WITH WOUNDED WARRIORS CANADA

Pickering, ON – Wounded Warriors Canada is proud to announce a new partnership with Pickering Fire Services (PFS) and the Pickering Professional Fire Fighters Association (PPFA) in support of mental health for first responders and their families. This new partnership will provide an additional layer of mental health service support for PFS and PPFA members.

“Pickering Fire Services is proud to partner with Wounded Warriors Canada,” said Pickering Fire Services Chief John Hagg. “With the variety of challenges our first responders face, this partnership reinforces that they have a strong support system they can rely on and various avenues to explore when it comes to mental health services.”

“We look forward to working with Wounded Warriors Canada,” said PPFA President Mike Palachik. “This partnership and support from our Fire Chief, the City and our Mayor shows the dedication and importance they place on our well-being. We are proud to serve the residents of Pickering and equally proud to have the support from the City when our members need it most.”

“The City of Pickering is proud to support this new partnership,” said PIckering Mayor Dave Ryan. “Our first responders work tirelessly to protect and serve our residents, and this partnership will ensure that they are receiving the support they need.”
