WOUNDED WARRIORS CANADA PARTNERS WITH CORNWALL POLICE SERVICE

CORNWALL, ON  – We’re proud to announce a new partnership with the Cornwall Police Service (CPS). Under the agreement, the CPS will share resources and identify or refer their members in need of mental health support to the programs offered by Wounded Warriors Canada.

“The health and wellbeing of our employees is a major priority of the CPS,” said Chief of Police, Danny Aikman. “Our people are our greatest assets, who work endlessly to help others, and these employees deserve to have the same supports available to assist them when they are in need. This partnership will enable the CPS to provide our employees with the appropriate supports for any mental health challenges they or their families may face.”

First Responders are highly trained and skilled professionals who, due to the nature of their work, often face challenging situations that test their physical or mental health and safety. Wounded Warriors Canada’s innovative approach to mental health combines clinical best practices and evidence-informed care to create an environment of compassion, hope and resiliency for participants.
