WOUNDED WARRIORS CANADA AND CANNACONNECT JOIN FORCES
TORONTO – Wounded Warriors Canada and CannaConnect are proud to formally announce the launch of a new partnership, creating an alliance in support of military veterans and first responders from coast to coast.
CannaConnect, a leading medical cannabis clinic network, empowers patients and healthcare providers with the knowledge and tools to destigmatize cannabis as a medication while cultivating a community of health and well-being. Led by a patient-care approach, CannaConnect has dedicated itself to providing a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, family members, and fellow caregivers across Canada.
CannaConnect kicked off the partnership by making a $25,000 donation to Wounded Warriors Canada in support of their mental health programs benefiting ill and injured veterans, first responders and their families. Moving forward, CannaConnect will also be donating a percentage of all proceeds generated through this new partnership, further reinforcing its pledge to Wounded Warriors Canada for years to come.
Scott Maxwell, Executive Director of Wounded Warriors Canada, commented, “Partnerships make our life-changing mental health programs possible. CannaConnect provides invaluable education, information and support to ill and injured veterans and their families across Canada. We are deeply grateful they wanted to take their effort a step further by helping us change and save lives and families.”
Lee Grossman, CEO of CannaConnect, commented, “Having worked alongside veterans, their families, and caregivers over the past three years, we have identified who is leading the way for this community. Wounded Warriors Canada is the gold standard when it comes to supporting veterans and first responders through tailored programming and community-driven outreach initiatives. We couldn’t be more excited to launch this new partnership and solidify our commitment to Wounded Warriors Canada.”
