ANNOUNCING THE WWC MENTAL HEALTH LEADERSHIP AWARD

WHITBY – Congratulations to Andrew and Jake Poirier, recipients of the inaugural Wounded Warriors Canada Mental Health Leadership Award. This awards recognizes Canadians who go above and beyond the call of duty to bring awareness to the Mental Health struggles of our First Responders, Veterans and their families.

Jake and Andrew started raising money for WWC 8 years ago after watching a W5 documentary that showcased our PTSD service dog program.  The Poiriers build birdhouses out of reclaimed wood, tin and recycled license plates. To date, the Jake and Andrew have raised more than $10k for our PTSD Service dog program.
