WHAT IS THE RIDE FOR MENTAL HEALTH?
The Ride For Mental Health (RMH) is a fun and inclusive cycling event that brings together Canadians to support our Veterans, First Responders, and their families who are affected by Operational Stress Injuries.
WHEN AND WHERE CAN I RIDE?
We encourage everyone to ride on August 23, but feel free to choose any date that suits you. Ride wherever you're most comfortable: at home, in your neighborhood, or on your favorite trail. You can also join our supported rides happening across Canada. Use Strava to discover routes or join our Ride For Mental Health Cycling Strava Club for inspiration. Absolutely share your route with fellow riders and tag @rideformentalhealthcanada to let us know where your wheels take you.
NEED SOME INSPIRATION?
Follow our Strava club, Instagram or Facebook page for regular tips on preparing for your ride and fundraising for your campaign.
WHAT IS STRAVA?

With a free membership, you can record and share your activities with no additional cost.
READY TO RIDE?
Yes! We are too. Start by registering for the Ride For Mental Health and creating your fundraising page in our Participant Center. You’ll be able to set up your fundraising goal and then start pedaling and sharing your journey in the lead-up to August 23rd.
NOT RIDING BUT WANT TO SUPPORT THE RIDE?
Don’t have a bike? Can’t ride? You can still support the National Ride For Mental Health by making a donation or spreading the word about our event. Every little bit helps!
WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?
The funds directly support the mental health programs provided by Wounded Warriors Canada for our First Responders, Veterans and their families.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
It's easy! Choose your ride distance, set your fundraising goal, and create your route. Push yourself by selecting a longer distance, tougher route, or committing to a high fundraising target. You can also start a team and make it a community event—we support all types of participation!
CAN I RIDE OUTSIDE CANADA?
Absolutely! Riders from around the world are welcome to join us.
FIRST-TIME RIDER?
Don’t worry if you’re new to cycling! Just make sure your bike is in good working order and you’re fueling up properly on ride day. Hydrate well in the days leading up to your ride and bring plenty of water and electrolyte drinks for the ride itself.
ARE THERE FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES?
Absolutely! This year, you'll be able to earn badges in your Participant Center. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.
