“Why” is this happening to me?” Is a common thought when something undesirable or tragic happens in our lives. Susan’s purpose is to find meaning in her life around the “why” and help others do the same.
Susan brings her easy-going personality and witty sense of humor with her formal training and many years of experience as a life and trauma coach. She partners with individuals, couples, and groups to envision, recognize challenges and obstacles, and explore achieving what they desire. Susan creates a safe environment, free of judgment, that presents the space for deeper explorations.
Susan was fortunate to co-created and cofacilitated two virtual group pilot programs, one addressing women and sobriety and the other on PTSD with civilians and military. This experience was a massive eye-opener for all involved. The most significant takeaway was the prevalence of trauma, along with the subtle and substantial impact it has on our lives.
A lifetime dedicated to volunteering for various nonprofit groups, Susan’s most recent work includes being a spokesperson with the Sacramento American Heart Association/Go Red For Women and assisting patients in the cardiac care unit at Sutter Hospital. Susan recently was appointed to the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
Susan has been blessed with one grown daughter, two sons, and four beautiful grandchildren. Susan spends her free time with family and her bulldog, Willie.
