National Mental Health Service Provider

Dave Kervin, WWC Ambassador, Ontario

Dave grew up in Northern Ontario in the small town of Englehart.   Continuously active in sports, Dave has always been seeking the next challenge in order to maintain a high level of physical fitness and mental resilience. It was through this quest for seeking the next challenge that led Dave into the infantry with the Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment in 2018, where he currently serves today. Having friends and former serving members that have dealt with, and continue to deal with the effects of PTSD, Dave made it a mission to do his part in helping combat these effects with supporting Wounded Warriors Canada.

Over the past several years he has participated in numerous fundraising events, and in 2022, Dave and his good friend and fellow Hasty P member took on the task of hosting the 1st Annual Peterborough Rucksack March For Remembrance which brought in over $15,000 in funds raised.

Dave works at OPG on the Nuclear Security Response Team and lives in Peterborough Ontario with his wife and 2 sons, the oldest being a serving member alongside him with his unit.  They are all active in their community, striving to promote mental health through various channels, including a podcast created by Dave’s wife, Ali, promoting fitness and mental resilience, the Ruck ‘n Rise Podcast.
Dave is a proud serving member of our military and a proud supporter of Wounded Warriors Canada.
