FALLEN 1ST RESPONDERS MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Rix family will be hosting our SECOND “Fallen 1st Responders Memorial Golf Tournament” on September 22nd, 2019 at Wooden Sticks Golf Course in Uxbridge. All proceeds will be donated to “Wounded Warriors Canada” with the hope to help save lives for those who save ours.

IN MEMORY OF ALL FALLEN 1ST RESPONDERS

In June of 2017 our son Stephen Christopher Rix fell victim to PTSD. My husband and I along with our family continue to support the Bill C-211 to give federal funding to help 1st Responders suffering from PTSD, but until it is implemented in the workplace there are only personal run charities that help our Fallen 1st Responders.

We are set up for a wonderful day of golf, and while we are sure of an overwhelming response, space is limited so please confirm your participation as soon as possible. A limited number of foursomes are available for $900 (HST included). Additional opportunities to help support this exceptional cause are available in the form of Hole sponsorships, Breakfast Sponsorships, Lunch Sponsorships, Cart sponsorships and Driving Range Sponsorships.

THE VENUE

Located in the town of Uxbridge, Ontario, Wooden Sticks golf course was designed by architect Ron Garl and features holes inspired by some of the most famous golf holes from around the world.

During your round, you will envision yourself playing off a road in Scotland, across a famous creek in Georgia, onto an island in Florida, and through pine forests in New Jersey.
