Bruce Power Donates $126,000 to Wounded Warriors Canada

Bruce Power and its partners have raised $126,000 for Wounded Warriors Canada. The fundraising charity gala was held in Kincardine where a full house gathered to support Canada’s leading charity that provides programs and services across the country benefiting ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, First Responders and their families.

The organization provides assistance to transition soldiers back to civilian life, primarily focusing on mental health and teaching individuals to cope with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Harry Hall is the Vice President of Supply Chain, and himself a veteran — and he says it’s humbling, the courage and strength the members of our Armed Forces show everyday. “It’s humbling, the courage and strength the members of our Armed Forces show every day,” said Harry Hall, vice- President of Supply Chain, who is himself a veteran. “We hope this donation will make it easier for our wounded soldiers to transition back to civilian life.”

Bruce Power also marked Remembrance Day with an on-site ceremony and by laying wreaths at numerous local cenotaphs.
