TORONTO – AssessMed, Canada’s leading independent medical examination service company, presented Wounded Warriors Canada with a $10,000 donation in support of their leading mental health programs benefiting ill and injured Veterans, First Responders and their families. Like many large firms in Canada, each year during the holiday season, AssessMed allocates marketing funds for the purchase of holiday gift baskets to send to selected valued clients, as a token of appreciation. This year, AssessMed decided to forgo the delivery of holiday baskets and, instead, they made a donation in support of Wounded Warriors Canada on behalf of their firm and all of their valued clients.

Donald Kunkel, President of AssessMed, commented, “This year we have seen our soldiers and first responders been into action on what feels like a daily basis. We felt that our holiday marketing funds could not be better spent than through a charitable donation and when we learned of the amazing work of Scott Maxwell and his team at Wounded Warriors Canada, simply put, this initiative just felt right!”
