SASKTEL PIONEERS DONATE $60,000 TO WOUNDED WARRIORS CANADA

REGINA – For SaskTel Pioneers, part of their mission is to make recognized contributions to community needs. This year, they set out to better support one of the pillars of the Pioneers organization: our Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans and their families. Today, at the SaskTel Pioneers Annual General Meeting, Wounded Warriors Canada received a $60,000 donation from the Pioneer Chapters in Saskatchewan.

Mark Grambo, President of the Bridge City Club of the SaskTel Pioneers, commented, “After much discussion at our executive table, and with Wounded Warriors Canada, we came to the conclusion that no other organization was doing more to support our ill and injured Veterans, First Responders and their families than they are. Wounded Warriors Canada is not just enriching the lives of those in need – they are changing and saving lives and families.”

Scott Maxwell, Executive Director of Wounded Warriors Canada, commented, “For Wounded Warriors Canada, partnerships make our mental health programs possible. This significant contribution to those who serve our country at home and abroad is a testament to the Pioneers’ principled commitment to service, community and our Canadian Armed Forces members (past, present and future) and their families.”
