National Mental Health Service Provider

Jeff Jordison, WWC Ambassador, Durham Region, Ontario

Jeff’s experience within emergency services began in 1997 when he started at his local volunteer Fire department. During this time, Jeff was introduced to the world of paramedicine and knew immediately that it was the path he wanted to pursue. Since 2001, Jeff has been employed as a paramedic in the GTA, in various roles, including primary care paramedic, advanced care paramedic, Operations Superintendent and his current role as Superintendent of Emergency Management with the Region of Durham Paramedic Services.

Jeff is a huge supporter of mental health programming for first responders as he has seen firsthand the affects that Post Traumatic Stress and Occupational Stress Injuries have had on his coworkers. With this in mind, under Jeff’s leadership, the Region of Durham Paramedic Services’ Peer Support Team was formed and continues to champion mental health resources and resilience for their members.
