Our Funding Philosophy
Who We Are
Thanks to the generous support of caring Canadians and Canadian businesses from across the country, Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC) has grown to become our nation’s leading mental health charity in the development and delivery of Operational Stress Injury programs benefiting Veterans, First Responders and their families.
What Kind of Programs Does WWC Provide?
WWC combines gateway programming, clinical support, research, and mental health promotion to help transform the lives of our uniformed service personnel and their families affected by Operational Stress Injuries. Our spectrum of care provides comprehensive individual and couples-based programs that are evidence-informed/evidence-based and accessible nationally to those we serve.
The WWC Spectrum of Care
We recognize that everyone is different and that each person has individual social, physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological needs. In other words, there is no “one size fits all solution.” We also recognize that there are a lot of supportive options and ideas to help. At the same time, we believe it is important to focus our investments on a core group of programs that support individuals, families, and mental health research in order to provide the most significant impact we possibly can.
