Prince’s Operation Entrepreneur
Prince’s Operation Entrepreneur is a unique national, bilingual program that provides transitioning Canadian Armed Forces members with the education, mentoring, financing and tools they need to start up and run a successful business.
For those wondering whether entrepreneurship is right for them, these one-day “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” workshops offer the basics on starting and running a small business. Workshops happen across Canada, fall through spring and are open to all military members, veterans and spouses.
Seven-Day Boot Camps
For those already working on their business idea, this week-long residential boot camp is a “mini MBA” where participants learn from leading university professors on topics including market research, finance, human resources, marketing and social media. Participants also work with a student mentor on a plan for their business. In 2016, boot camps run May through August, in Quebec City (in French), Halifax, St John’s and Regina.
Through our partner Futurpreneur Canada, POE also offers mentoring and access to $45,000 in start up financing to those who qualify.
Thanks to sponsors including Wounded Warriors Canada, we are able to offer all of our programs without cost for participants.
