TORONTO<\/strong> \u2013 On September 7th, the first-annual York Region Police’s To Serve and Savour Gala was held under the Magna tent in Aurora. The sold-out event featured\u00a0a unique culinary experience, showcasing some of Canada\u2019s top chefs. The night also had live entertainment, dancing and a silent auction with the funds raised benefiting Wounded Warriors Canada. All proceeds raised will be used by Wounded Warriors Canada to provide much-needed mental health support to ill and injured Canadian Armed forces members, veterans, first responders and their families.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In July, York Regional Police established a formal partnership with Wounded Warriors Canada, adding an additional layer of mental health support and resources for our members and their families.<\/p>\n
