Greg was born in Hamilton, Ontario in 1954. His family moved to Toronto in 1961. Greg grew up in Etobicoke and attended Kipling Collegiate Institute, where he excelled in athletics, particularly football.
Derrick Gleed
Vice-Chair & Treasurer
Derrick has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. The majority of that time has been spent specializing in the Living Benefits area. This includes Disability, Critical Illness, Long Term Care and Health Care Insurance products. Derrick achieved his Registered Health Underwriter designation in 1998, followed by the Certified Health Specialist.
Captain G. W. Johnston, CD
Founder and Fundraising Chair
Captain Johnston was born in East York, Ontario in 1958, where he was raised and educated. Captain Johnston enlisted as an infantryman in 1973 with The Royal Regiment of Canada under the Summer Youth Employment Program, which was primarily conducted at Canadian Forces Base Petawawa.
Philip Ralph
Secretary and Program Chair
Phil currently serves as the Secretary and Program Director of WoundedWarriors.ca and has served in various capacities with the charity since its founding in 2006, including serving as Chair for two years. As Program Director he oversees the implementation of a robust and exciting slate of programming benefiting Veterans.
